SJPHC is a community health center licensed by Brigham & Women's Hospital. They provide comprehensive primary care in the following areas: adult medicine, pediatrics, mental health, substance abuse, obstetrics, gynecology, midwifery, family planning, podiatry, cardiology, nutrition and WIC. They see 8,000 patients (including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors) every year.
The health center features a bilingual Spanish/English medical and professional staff.
Special services include the WIC Program, case management, substance abuse services, stress-management and support groups, smoking cessation groups, and nutrition groups for patients with diabetes. Free mammograms are offered four times a year through the American Cancer Society.
