The oldest parish in JP, St Thomas Aquinas was founded in 1873 and was the "mother church" for all the other parishes. The parish consists of the lovely brick church and the St. Thomas Aquinas School (the building dates from the 1890s).
Next door to the church building is a big white house that serves as the rectory.
